Role Description:

We are offering a full-time, remote Executive Assistant Internship with the Chesapeake Wellness Initiative. As an Executive Assistant Intern, you will provide executive-level administrative support, manage expense reports, and assist with communication and coordination within the organization. While this internship is unpaid, it provides a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience, build your resume, and develop essential skills in a nonprofit setting. There is potential for the internship to transition into a paid, full-time role in the future. Additionally, we are committed to providing excellent references for your professional development.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-level executive administrative assistance to the leadership team.
  • Prepare and manage expense reports for the organization.
  • Assist in coordinating communications between departments and external partners.
  • Facilitate effective organizational workflows and processes.
  • Support event planning and coordination as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in executive administrative assistance or administrative support is preferred.
  • Proficiency in managing expense reports.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
  • Familiarity with office management systems and procedures.
  • Attention to detail and a proactive problem-solving mindset.
  • Ability to work independently and resourcefully.
  • Passion for wellness, mindfulness, and community-based work is a plus.
