Hi everyone! I have important updates! Unfortunately, we cannot hold our planned cookout this weekend. However, I have good news – we will be hosting a cookout within the next 30 days on one of our new properties and inside a dome as well! Road Runner Mindset – I want a different reality, and I want it now. No reason I can’t fulfill all my desires.
I want to thank everyone who provided feedback on the properties we were considering. Your input directly shaped the decision-making process and helped us select this satellite initial welcome center in St Mary’s.
Feedback Received:
1. Amanda – Focus on area where the first main location will be – This feedback led us to hold off on the Hughesville location, even though I 100% wanted that one.
2. Maria – Mentioned Hughesville should be lived on and tree’s not cleared for large structures, however she mentioned the other properties were game for tree removal.
As current president, I propose we host 10 events over 6 months. On satellite property in order to raise 85-200k for down payment on 30-250 acre lots in St Mary’s. This new property will not affect our organizations ability to purchase a larger piece or get loans for another.
Main property will be voted on and decided on by the group, assuming input is received.
I’m in final talks to secure an 11-acre property with a beautiful river running through it will serve as a satellite location for our organization. We plan to use it for retreats, events, and even as a prototype for the structures we’ll build on our permanent site.
We are still looking for board members and volunteers to help make our vision a reality. In the coming weeks, we’ll also be gathering opinions through surveys about the types of events you’d like to see on this new property.
